In 2011, Antilles Outdoor launched a Mother’s Day initiative inviting Barbadians to nominate women who had made a meaningful difference in their lives.

What began as a simple radio promotion has grown into a nationwide tradition. Today, more than 300 names appear on Antilles Outdoor bus shelters across Barbados - each recognising a mother, daughter, grandmother, teacher, sister, partner or friend.

These names transform everyday public spaces into lasting tributes, celebrating the women whose contributions have shaped families, communities and lives across the island.
